If you visit the official site for Legends of Edda, the newest MMO from GamesCampus, you'll find it populated with adorable, big-eyed characters. Don't be fooled, say the developers -- the game is both cute and hardcore.
Legends of Edda is based on Greek mythology and offers players the opportunity to play as a god of Olympus or as a Titan. These warring factions make PvP the cornerstone of the game, and there are personal battles, larger-scale PvP, RvR, and PK in which opposing factions can attack one another at any time.
There is also a "deep class system" that gives a choice of six classes to begin with, and a series of subclasses as players advance. Legends of Edda is free-to-play and accepting signups for closed beta now, so check out the site to learn more.

I am enjoying this genre. I love the idea of a "Monty Python Bunny"-esque creature that is both adorable and deadly.

Hmm, I am confused. They use the name Edda which is all about norse mythology yet the game is about greek mythology instead?

The game videos I've seen (non-English YT vids), screenshots, promotional stuff... none of them have anything remotely "mythical" about them, Greek or otherwise oO;
Looks cute though

Why would you call it Edda when Edda refers to Norse mythology?

Oh god I cutegasm'd.
From the site: "Become a revered hero and acquire demigod powers." So you don't actually play AS a god (Lv43ZEUS LFG) but possibly the offspring of one? Or just ordinary beings with godlike powers? It's also quite possible that the developers just don't understand mythology and are only using it as a hook. "Random chibis killing each other with swords and magic" just doesn't have the same selling power. Actually, it kind of does. I would so totally buy that game.
