The recent announcement by Bluehole Studios and Frogster Online Gaming that the latter had secured the European publishing rights to TERA brought about something akin to an outcry from portions of the forthcoming fantasy MMORPG's community. While it wasn't quite millions of voices crying out in terror (and then being suddenly silenced), there were a few indignant threads on the various TERA fan sites. Why the brouhaha?
Apparently some fans have experienced everything from perceived shoddy customer service, to forum "censorship," to the wanton slaughter of helpless kittens in previous Frogster-published titles (the largest of which is free-to-play behemoth Runes of Magic). Frogster director of product management Daniel Ulrich has since extended an olive branch in the form of a post on the official TERA forums, laying out the first of what will be several rounds of Q&A posts over the next few days.
Check out the thread for some answers to your burning TERA questions, including free-to-play vs. pay-to-play, support team specifics, and server hardware.

I have to question the validity of a game where the female characters are a g-string away from starring in a porno. Skimpy undercrackers + bad customer services = no you're alright thanks.

I dont see how skimpy girls has anything to do with gameplay. You know, the primary factor in how a game does in the market. But I guess people can pick negatives out of whatever they want to.
As for Frogster, sucks if your EU, but NA will have an awesome game.

It's all about the combat, really, Duncs.
-- Bikini top? Check!
-- "Barely there" pants? Check!
-- Laughable set of horns? Check!
-- Fishnet stockings? Check!
-- Assorted worthless spikes and other silly stylistic flourishes? Check!
-- Absurdly supersized epeen 2H weapon that even a cave troll couldn't lift? Check!
Yes, I'd say this game has all the makings of a game I have no interest in playing. Still, every time I see the armors in this game, I lol, so that's a plus. :-)

I'm genuinely surprised by the negative attitude to Frogster - I had no idea it existed. I've been playing RoM from launch and have found them to be nothing but great - great forums, great GMs, great service, great game. Maybe it's because I'm Europe? Did they frog-up their NA service somehow??

Noooo, not wanton slaughter of helpless kittens! How can they sleep at night?

Hummm ...Tera. I can smell the stench of all grind in this eastern MMO from a mile away. * cough* Aion 2.0 * cough*

@Tom: No one said you had to play the game. Clearly it isnt your style of MMO. But dont say it is because the game is trash when your only argument is how ridiculous things look in a fantasy game.

Hehe yeah I know, I was kidding :) The combat does look quite good and something a bit different, it's just the strip-club attire does get me worried about how much time the developers spent designing minge-covers than they do polishing up the game.
That said, I hope it does turn out to be something special, not for me though I'm afraid. And after the GOA debacle with War I absolutely won't have anything to do with an MMO if there's a sniff of cack customer service.

Frogster have a well-earned bad reputation for poor quality customer service, now compared to a lot of F2P companies they are quite good but compared to subscription game companies they are the pits (excepting NCsoft who I found to be bloody awful too).
If you've had very good customer service whilst involved in a Frogster published title you were very lucky indeed.

Just hope EU peeps can buy the US version, gain access to US servers....and well a proper EU community on those US servers

Frogster was pretty decent for F2P games, they are promising 24/7 support and that's all you could care about in tera's case, they won't develope anything, patches will come at the same time as in the US, can't really see how they can screw up.
