I didn't see that the guy who posted the picture on the official forums similar to mine got his deleted. If mods must take mine down as well, my apologies in advance!

Hypnotoad: After the beta page opened for people to sign up, how soon did you fill it out? I was there within the first 30 minutes, I have a good computer and tons of past testing, QA and beta experience.

I was hoping they'd be picking based on the applicants prior experiences, computer specs or maybe the earliest signup dates.

I guess this is another random selection beta? Bleh. Figured they'd want to pick good quality applicants for the first round, kinda strange they'd just select randoms. Defeats the purpose of including all the dxdiag info and past exprience sections in the application. D:

You better hope the SW:TOR mods don't find out you posted this, or that Massively doesn't report you. Admitting you're in a beta (publicly) is against the NDA, and grounds for dismissal from testing.

Wisdomandlore: Have you read the thread? Or the parts highlighted in the article at least? I'll highlight it for you:

"The Game Testing Agreement that was agreed upon (when signing up for game testing) states:

PERMITTED DISCLOSURES
1. The fact that there is a Game Program.
2. The fact that you are a member of the Game Program.

Outside of that, it is a violation of the agreement to do anything more such as posting images or screen captures of anything related to Game Testing that is private and confidential and not already publicly revealed by The Old Republic team."

100-200 out of how many millions that applied? LOL, good luck to everyone, but you might have better odds on a lottery ticket! =D

Don't lose track of reality. Only around 760,000 have signed up for the forums. We're not even at a million yet, let alone millions.

hypnotoad - do u have any thoughts on why u got invited?do you post a lot on the forums, in the feedback section, in general discussion...? I would just like to explain to myself why some people got chosen over others.

not a clue, honestly. I'm a casual poster on the forums, but haven't in some time. Updated my system specs a month ago when I added some parts to my PC, but nothing special. Wish I knew :(

You could explain to yourself by looking up the definition of random and limited. Those two right there should give you an excellent explanation of why some people were picked and others were not.

If Mr. Rhorle a.k.a. Smartypants knows so much then I suppose you got accepted? Some Beta Testers invite only people who are active on the forums, who have registered at least one year ago, people who spam the Feedback section of the forum with useful stuff.

Btw Hypno thank you for your answer - appreciate it. Hope you have fun mate.
