I can't remember where I got it at, but I think I ended up googling it and finding it from another site as well. It went pretty fast for me.

I know what you mean with the controls, and will mention that in my review. It drives me batty. See ya in game!

I got it downloaded and tried it over the weekend - seems pretty cool so far, the controls are very responsive and what I've played is fun. I tried to log in again a few minutes ago but it's maintenance time apparently, so no go on that.

My 'w' key was also unmapped when I logged in, which is strange considering all the other movement keys are already mapped. I have to disagree on the a/d thing though, I prefer a default of a/d on strafe and right mouse button + mouselook for camera control, just as they have it set up.

I'm Branclem in-game as always, I'll add Hiroji and Beau once I can get in again.

I'm really digging Pandora Saga. I just wish the devs had put some effort into marketing... player pop seems abysmal.

My friend plays this, in fact she's in the second screenshot (CoralIvy). While I'm busy fighting the Lich King, she's off bopping shellfish on the head and complaining about the bugs in the game.

Beau, you should try playing this game intensively for at least 1 month (3 months max), then compare to any full fledged/featured MMORPG. You will see how little and repetitive the game content and mechanics are. I doubt any players (other than hard core fans) will play this game for long. Development progress is very slow, quality is subpar compared to most MMORPGs. The game design is single-player oriented, you will notice how you can complete the game by yourself. More like a multiplayer RPG, rather than an MMORPG.

If you only view this game based on the features without actually playing them for long, yes these features are very interesting for people (farming, housing, etc.), but actually this game is just a combination of interesting/nice-to-have features but only have loose links between one to another, as if they aren't "stitched up" nicely together. Once you have tried farming, housing, and the other "cool" things about the game, you will see that these features aren't really interesting anymore. What is the point of having tons of nice features when there's barely any connection between them?

Anyway, try playing the game longer, I'm sure your impression (and eventually your review) will change. There is a reason this game flopped worldwide and it's because of its fundamental failure. If this were a building, then this would a base structural damage problem.

PS: Oh.. one more thing, the fact they put a link to this article up on their website (since your review is considered positive to them, when the real product is not as good as your review sounds, the developer just wants to hear what they want to hear) makes things worse.
