I was a bit unclear this week as to which of the massively writers actually went to E3 and demoed games? I don't think it's a good idea to keep writing hands on impressions from the point of view of 'we' -- I would rather read the impression of the person who actually played it.

Then you get a post like this and you aren't sure whose view this represents. Did you vote on it and decide you all thought lego universe was cooler than SWTOR? Or is this the writer's personal opinion?

Hi, cb!

Four Massively staffers attended E3, including the author of this piece, our EiC. It my understanding that they chose the finalists for the best-of list above. Generally, when the hands-on person was able to write his or her own piece, first person singular was used. When an interview audio file was sent back for the writing team to assemble into something you'd actually want to read, or when multiple staffers got hands-on looks and could collaborate, first person plural was employed. We usually differentiate between "we" in news pieces and "I" in opinion columns, as well. Hope that helps!

Any of you see Mythos? Redbana was at E3 pimping it - having played the Flagship closed beta, I'm curious to read your impressions of it under Redbana's management.
