I think the massively coverage of E3 was pretty good. They covered all of the games that most of us wanted to see covered. I admire the honesty of the SWTOR hands on article.

Also, if they had covered all of the asian mmos, we would have seen countless posts deriding them for posting about trash f2p titles.

I'm not a massively fanboy; in fact, I have huge problems at times with the qc and fact checking on this site. That said, I like all of the posters. I look at this site more like a community then a news site. I like to read the comments, and sometimes I wish the posters would participate more in the discussions. After all, most of us come here to read articles about MMOs written by poeple who love them as much as we do.
Also, it would be cool to have some kind of flag on main page linking to the most active discussions. That might attract trolls and require more moderation, but it would keep these discussions alive longer and encourage more poeple to add their voice.

Hiya Nathael,

We do have a section that links to our most active discussions from the last week -- it's over on the right underneath the other sidebar goodies, on every page!

We have made a push to get our writers more involved in the comments, but as you can probably imagine, it's a tricky business. We don't want to post toooo much and dominate the threads, and when things start to get heated, well, sometimes it's best not to jump into a flamewar and make things worse!

If you have a specific fact-checking issue, click on the "send feedback" link at the top of the page so an editor can take a look. We do return to old threads (sometimes very old threads!) to post corrections when they are needed!

Thanks for the nice words! :)

-Bree

Read what I said to Porter. Because they did not mention SWTOR, doesn't mean Massively are slagging it off. They just wern't as impressed with it as they where with the other games mentioned. Keep in mind, SWTOR still could kill WoW in *innovation and be the next big thing.

*Note: Though I'll point out, even Mabinogi currently could beat WoW in that even, after Blizz pulled Path of the Titans from their next Xpac. Just saying...

So like, where is the video of the demo that you played of Tera? You say it was the best demo, but I've never seen this demo you are talking about, and I scoured the interwebs looking for it.

Fairly simple to read between the lines. There's a reason why SWTOR wasn't mentioned and it's not because it's a bad game.

SWTOR brought the most information and announcements to E3.
SWTOR brought a real and raw demo that didn't hide the gameplay.

There's a different reason it's not mentioned. Can you figure it out?

Can we use some abbreviation for Black Prophecy other than BP? Every time I see that it brings to mind a certain oil company that is much in the news these days. How about BlkP or maybe BProph? BkP?

:D

I'm going to go a tad off topic here. Vena-something -or-other on the first page had a wild opinion about SWTOR, and while I disagree completely and don't care that he got voted down, I would have liked to have been able to read it without trying so hard.

Is there any good reason whatsoever to dim a comment just because it's unpopular?

Agreed, I think they should do away with the option to mod posts up or down. While I've tried to use it from time to time for trolls or used up to read something that is hard to see, it is just plain annoying.

I was blown away by Trion's MMORTS End of Nations demo.Combat is engaging and visceral.

As for SWTOR their demo was just WoW into a Star wars outfit.Looks like Bioware is going the safe way nothing really innovative or revolutionary..oh sorry I forgot they are adding a "Fourth Pillar" in MMO.

We were talking here about NFS few weeks ago and i wasn't the only one who dislike the game. "Need for Speed: Porsche Unleashed" was the very last from NFS series that you could call amazing. But that is my personal opinion.

ps.:Don't get me wrong, you doing great job here at Massively.

No. Why would I when:
1) Porn is a click away on the internet. I don't need to be titillated by skimpy outfits.
2) I like big girls.

Ohh man

"Top 10" lists, or those like it, are always hotly contested debacles.

Opinions, friends. Opinions.

Who cares about Asian games? They've become irrelevant this generation, just so dated and such poor game design compared to western games. Also if you ain't into the art style or their lore of rocks saving the world or whatever lol, then you ain't gonna ever like them.

The rest of the MMOs look like crap and the only one worth keeping your eye on is SWTOR and that'll just be WoW, and not in space cause that ain't coming at launch.

The only MMO people care about is SWTOR and that just proves the state of the genre, that being the only one people are hyped for. So really I see no competition for WoW, I don't think SWTOR will beat it.

Massively loves cash store games, who would have thought?

Black Prophecy going F2P only means one thing. They have to make money, hence their game will be tailored so that they push you to buy things from the store. I wonder when this love affair will end and we will get real choices from games.
