Massively's exclusive DC Universe Online Mass Animation trailer

Sony Online Entertainment has taken a fan-friendly approach to the development of DC Universe Online with its Mass Animation program. Fans from all over the world submitted their best work in the hopes that they would be chosen to help design DCUO animation and trailers.

We got a look at a rough version of the trailer at GDC, but the finished project is finally ready. This exclusive video begins with a look at the Mass Animation project and then takes us straight into the fan-created, villain-centric trailer.

Our interview with Sony Online Entertainment will come tomorrow, so watch for that, and follow along after the jump to enjoy the trailer in the meantime. Congratulations to every fan who participated!

I cannot wait for this game to come out for the PS3 and the computer. finally i can make my own DC character lol Shazam was my favorite.

Ooh, nice! Let me just say, that DC comics is the one for me. Marvel, Capcom...well, they've never really been my cuppa tea.

I have never played a superhero MMO (Shame on me, right?), but this may be the straw that broke the sweaty comic book nerd's back.

One caveat; everyone looks a little bit too plasticky. Cool it on the botox, DC!

Hmm, I'd have to disagree there!

While Ironman was pretty fantastic, Spider-Man, Hulk, Daredevil, and X-Men (and Elektra, yikes) weren't my favourite films. Especially compared to Batman!
