While I do not play this game I love seeing the old games getting some love. I tried EQ but I could not play it because the mechanics were too out dated. I did like EQ2 and if AC ever goes F2P, I will be giving it a try.

Sounds interesting. A bit steam-punkish.
I also wonder why they aren't going f2p with this title. Unless it's because the mechanics are not what people are used to from modern mmos and turbine doesn't want to deal with whiners about things which have worked for 10 years.

So, now that turbine has DDO, they can now make a ripoff of the warforged race that they have including the same use of integrating gears. Amazing.

Howabout a graphics update and content update?

Gearknights have been around a long time in the Asheron's Call Universe - they appeared in AC2 about 6-7 years ago. They might be a rip off of Warforged (not sure when they were invented) but Turbine was using them long before they had DDO.

"Howabout a graphics update and content update?"

Reading's not your strong point, is it?

From the article:-

" it continues receiving regular content updates..."

and:-

"Turbine has also ...updated the landscape textures"
