I can't help but wonder what makes this better then Motor City Online? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motor_City_Online
Also a EA game btw... What makes this more likely to succeed? It'll be interesting to try out the trial version at least.

I'll readily admit - I'm very curious. Of course, I don't know how Need for Speed is as a racing these days (haven't played it since the original 3DO version). I wouldn't mind seeing something like this but based off of Ridge Racer :)

Checked the NDA. It allows for videos, so I figure I can share my opinion.

I found it a bit underwhelming to play the exact same game NFS has been all these years with an experience bar and a multiplayer aspect to the open-world roaming.

Yeah, that's all it is.

This game sounds good in theory but whenever I have bought a driving game before I usually get bored after about an hour. This game needs something different to keep people interested..

This game was a huge disappointment for me. I was expecting Motor City Online and got a cheap Korean MMO version of NFS Most Wanted.

Ditto. I think aeria's racing mmo is better to be honest.
