We've been watching Craft of Gods with interest as it proceeded through several stages of open beta, improving things along the way. Now the work that the developers have been putting into the game is about to pay off: it's launch day.
Players are invited to explore Akvilon, a "huge world with 25 different maps," which offers a variety of different areas to discover from forests to deserts to frozen plains. There are six races to choose from, a variety of skill sets to learn, and a decision to be made -- will you fight for light or darkness?
Craft of Gods offers a free ten-day trial, so if you want to check it out before purchasing visit the site to sign up.

The 10 day trial is on a seperate trial server, with no possibility of transfering to the full ones after purchasing the full game, thats a dealbreaker for me.

Only one comment? Hmm...well, I'll just say that this could be a good game for any fan of DAoC. It won't ever replace DAoC, but it's got the same setup with 3 factions and all.

I've been playing it. It's ok, and I mean....ok. There are a lot of rough edges and bugginess right now.

Barely playable. Very poor performance, terrible interface, mobs and players warping around like bunnies on crack even though I ping 30ms to their servers. I'll probably give the trial a go in a few months, if the game's still around...
