I started playing AoC, since most people here said it was a LOT better from the early days and i liked it, only played for 2 hours but the animations are good and the storytelling is dragon age ish so i'm going to continue to play until other mmo's arrive like swtor. WoW is over for me, new worlds and adventures are out there, it's time to move on.

I would encourage you to stick around! It's a good time, especially more fun if you're into some of the lore. Google Conan the Barbarian and read some of the free open-source copies of Robert Howard's books.

You will be a lifelong fan!

Tks m8! I'll do that:) Yes, i like lore, it just brings more feel to the game!
This AoC boost goes in the direction of what i think about mmo's. They need time to get things running, almost all these games are crap in the beginning...
It's not a perfect strategy, but i think these games should be free because of that in the beginning, and then if they get a good community and gamers and with the need of more content, zones, crafting, improvements, then start paying.

That's actually a great idea jose. I prefer the pay to play games in the long run, but would be nice if they were worth the money from the beginning.
