Well hey there Massively community! I hope you guys have enjoyed our Fallen Earth giveaway and corresponding in-game event, but we're not done with Fallen Earth yet!
We have received a chance to visit the secret Fallen Earth headquarters and we'd like you guys to throw some questions our way for the dev team! We're going to be videotaping all of the studio's secrets and transmitting them back to you guys, but we're also going to throw your questions at the development team while they're on video.
So if there's anything you ever wanted to know about the wasteland, or any questions you wanted to ask about the team's upcoming plans or patch schedule, then be sure to drop your questions off in the comments section of this post! We'll pick the best of the bunch and ask them during our video tour in two weeks, so be on the lookout for the upcoming post!

Personally, I want to know that the devs plan on staying the original vision of a more sandboxy game. Make sure combat will stay with the shooter style it is now, and that open world PvP and the large scale openness of the game will be pushed over Blood Sports (albeit a neat feature) and instances.

Would like to know about the future of the game and the state of it all after the layoffs. I know press releases are great, we send them out all the time, but a personal look from Massively regarding the health and work of the offices would be killer.

I stopped playing a month or so before the 1.3 patch, so I'm not sure how much has been fixed since then, but I have a few questions.
1) I'd like to know if there are plans to improve respawn rates. One of the most frustrating experiences was not being able to enjoy all the wonderful scenery, objects, and terrain the level designers put into the game, because all I could do was run in, take care of the quest, and run out. And that still meant running away from mobs that respawned after mere seconds of being dead.
2) Spinning the wheel. I was highly disappointed to find out how little faction really meant in the game. I wanted my Travelers faction to really mean something, but once I finished all the S2 travelers quests, it was on to the Techs, because there weren't enough Travelers quests, and being a Traveler didn't mean anything except a few unlockables to purchase. After that, my choice was to either move on to S3, or grind faction by killing mobs.
3) I have never seen a game that offered so little reason to loot mobs. Hundreds upon hundreds of bodies left lying there, because the person who killed them has all the cotton, wool, water, etc. they could ever need. The "slot machine" effect is part of the reason I like these games. (The random chance of getting something really good and unusual). Sounds like the rare spawns are a step in this direction, but I'm wondering if other ideas are on the table. (Maybe rare craftables that can be used to craft special items?)
