After too many snowstorms, blizzards, blizzageddons, snowmageddons, ice storms, dreary days, and martyred meteorologists to count, we've emerged from winter as timid fleshlings, blinking in the bright spring sunlight. It's hard to imagine that in just a few weeks, we'll usher in the summer season -- traditionally a dry spell of new game releases. Still, many of us will get off school or college, or enjoy a vacation away from work, and have a chunk of gaming time open up.
So what are your MMO summer plans? Will you invest more time in your current favorite title? Are you planning on exploring old favorites, perhaps in preparation for upcoming patches and expansions? Did you miss out on a recently-released MMO, such as Star Trek Online, Global Agenda or Age of Conan: Rise of the Godslayer, and are considering a one-month pass to check it out? Or mayhaps you're holding out for one of the rare summer releases, such as Mortal Online and APB?
What are you going to do in MMOs this summer?

I will be playing EQ2 with my brother, maintaining my guild in WoW, and checking out APB.

Well, after much thought, I have decided a few things as far as MMO plans go this summer. First, I want to get my RuneKeeper up to level 65 in Lord of the Rings Online by the middle of August. Whether this will happen or not is hard to tell. That is about 45 levels to burn through.
I am also somewhat excited to jump back into WOW for a few months, and get ready for Cataclysm. WOW is always calling to me in the back of my head whenever I sit down at my computer to do some gaming.
The last MMO I plan to continue playing on a regular basis is Global Agenda. Great fast paced team action!

FFXIV in 2010 if release and that will be it. With that being said, I'll be playing Red Dead Redemption, MAG, continue to play Borderlands and getting ready for the Starcraft 2 release instead. The I'll be looking to get into some Bioshock 2, Dead Space 2, Brink and Fallout New Vegas. Hopefully FFXIV will be released in 2010 so I can finally play a real mmo again.

I'm doing forum roleplay at http://mantellsyndicate.com - a premature smuggler's guild for SWTOR. There's no 'game' yet, but we're all having lots of fun and getting to know each other, in character and for real.

I plan to complete Guild Wars Factions & Nightfall and the EoTN expansion. I also hope to give Runes of Magic a try. As a newbie to mmorpgs I look forward to seeing what all is available and have fun doing it.

Gonna try out Eve and probably ROM and might Sub for a month to Mortal online to check it out.
Other than that I enjoy summer more outside and will hold off any major game playing till around October likely.

Hopefully get a beta invite for Black Prophecy, but if not I'll continue playing Eve very casually and continue to wait on TOR. Looks like a console summer, to be honest.
