Everyone's favorite post-apocalyptic MMORPG is gearing up for something a little different, namely drunken trivia nights. Ok, the sauciness is optional, but the festivities will be held at the Embry bunker bar. Mark your wasteland calendars for Thursday, May 13th and Saturday, May 15th and plan to test your Fallen Earth trivia mettle from 8-11 p.m. Eastern time.
The Fallen Earth team will be giving away prizes that include ATVs, motorcycles, gear, and weapons (most of which will be donated by players, so contact Tiggs via in-game mail if you're feeling generous). Those of you who survived Massively's recent Fallen Earth event will feel right at home, so make plans to join us at Embry.
You can also check out the full press release at the official website.

After finally giving the game a shot after getting the free key from you guys, I'm pleasantly surprised at how fun the game is. The game is a little rough around the edges, but once you get past that, it's fun. The crafting is awesome, the world is great, and the gameplay is pretty fun. There are some lag and animation/graphic issues, but the core gameplay seems intact.
But now that the AoC expansion just launched, I may end up moving back to AoC. I would probably have a lot of fun playing FE, but the lack of any decent PvE endgame doesn't have me very excited. I'm mostly a PvE gamer, so not having decent PvE dungeons and group stuff in the endgame doesn't have me looking forward to leveling it up. I would probably enjoy the journey to 50, but I just don't think I'll do it. Maybe after I finish all the new content in AoC I'll come back.
But for anybody who hasn't given FE a shot, please do. It's a really great game and the community is amazing. Hopefully the new deal to sell the boxes in Walmart will help them quite a bit. It should be getting much more attention than it has. They just gotta polish up the graphics and animations a bit more and add some attractive PvE endgame dungeons and they've got themselves a winner. Also, increase bank and bag space :P

I have been playing pretty much non-stop since the key give away. And allthough I was in beta and had plans to get the game in the future after it matured a while longer, I have to say I am friggen hooked!
In beta I saw potential but it never grabbed me. I don't know what changed honestly. Maybe I just finally get it? All I know is this has allready become my favorite game.
Thanks Massively and FE guys for the free client I am offically a loyal customer!

I was also in the beta tests and thought the game was just ok. I recently got the Massively key and started playing again. The game has come a long way since beta, with a lot of the technical issues worked out since then. Most importantly, the game is fun. I'm finding the quests very entertaining and the crafting system is top-notch. The game has great humor throughout and the world is huge and interesting. Where else can you beat a giant mutated chicken to death with a homemade pool cue?

Thanks to you guys at Massively and the Fallen Earth team, I got a key for Fallen Earth as well. I tried the game last year and it was completely unplayable for me because of graphic problems. The game has improved since then a whole lot and even not all issues are fixed yet, I enjoy every minute in this game. I hope the game will receive the attention it deserves after all. I haven't played such a nice MMORPG since Star Wars Galaxies pre NGE.
Looking forward to joining the event on Saturday.

There are two bunker bars in Embry, you might want to mention which one (the waypoint system isn't overly intuitive). Far as I know they always use the bunker bar behind the main drag in Embry, in the shanty town area, *not* the one over by the ViP storage building (which, because you go right by it on your way to ViP storage, is the one most people think of).
Also, anyone thinking of going to this on Thursday, go to the Invicta thing in Flagstaff instead. Way funner, a lack of idiots asking Tiggs sexist questions while she tries to come up with increasingly mind numbingly dumb questions she can ask that will actually get an answer, and a lot less of a drive if you're in S2/S3.
Honestly, I can't imagine why they put one of these on Thursday, especially given it's a rehash of the Monday thing, or why they keep insisting on having it in Embry. The drive from Flagstaff to Embry takes around an hour each way on motorcycle, I don't even want to think about what it'd be like from Trader's Flat. At least if it were in Flagstaff it'd be kinda central to the three zones and, given that the roads are generally pretty safe (baring a creeper here and there and a few wolves on the road in front of Post 23), pretty much anyone past the early teens could get there.
