Massively's EVE Online CSM candidate roundup, page 3

Not all the entrants this year are well-known players and many haven't made much of a public effort to state their case. With the term limits removed and a lot of popular old faces returning to the voting list, players that make so little effort are highly unlikely to win a seat on the council. Below is a list of all the relatively unknown players and those that don't appear to have put a significant effort into stating their case.

If any of these pilots steps up their campaign to something more active, please let me know via the comments.

Name: Ali Rachini EVE character: 900V Corporation: Romanian Space Explorer(RSEX) Alliance: Legiunea ROmana(ROMAN) 900V is a relative unknown with no campaign website and no solid plans.
Name: Scott Peterson EVE character: Wulfnor Corporation: Roving Guns Inc.(RG) Alliance: RAZOR Alliance(-RZR-) Useful links: Campaign forum thread Wulfnor is an unknown character with no statement of intent and a very blank looking campaign post in the forum.

Name: Michael Kronmal EVE character: Placcar Corporation: SPORADIC MOVEMENT(SP0RE) Alliance: Cult of War(-COW-) Placcar is an unknown pilot with no statement of intent or active campaign.
Name: Alexander Victor Wolf EVE character: Axexut Corporation: AWE Corporation(AWECO) Alliance: Intrepid Crossing(IRC) Useful links: Campaign forum thread Axexut is an unknown pilot with no real statement of intent and no functional campaign website. His forum thread was quickly done, with minimal effort involved.
Name: Blair Robinson EVE character: Institute Ofwar Corporation: Trinity Corp(WOOPS) Alliance: WE FORM VOLTRON(ASMBL) Useful links: Campaign forum thread Institute Ofwar is an unknown player with no campaign website and only a short statement of intent declaring that he's in it for solo and small gang PvP. His forum thread is equally slapdash, with just a quick notice about bumping and ECM drones. .

Thank You for doing the research and posting this breakdown of candidates! There certainly are a lot of candidates this time around, but it is great to have a 3rd party assessment of each candidate, and it is important to note which candidates have put in a serious dedication of time to their campaign.

One snare I caution people on for campaign platforms: Don't let candidates sway you with 1) undeliverable promises (Great Big New Things!! No Ganking! NO MORE LAG!), or 2) promises of fixes that are already in motion (e.g. - lag, forums, petitions). The CSM will not revolutionize the game, if they did, you should be worried. However, they do have the ability to improve what's there, relay player feedback and suggestions, and make EVE more like what you the players want.

In regards to previously sitting members of the CSM, players would do well to ask themselves which previously sitting members have actually made a difference. Who have you ever heard of, who has been accessible? A few past CSM delegates have been immensely helpful and productive. Many others have not.

All that said, I hope that I may earn your vote(s) based on a strong platform, and the dedication and hard work evident in my campaign.

The CSM is pointless and stupid, most of their ideas are beyond simplistic and most often, bad for the game.

If you are having trouble picking your candidate from the article, go to this site where Dierdra Vaal has created a multi-choice survey which then compares your responses with those from the CSM candidates and matches you to the candidate that thinks along the same lines as you.

If you have multiple accounts with different types of pilots in each, then try doing the survey from the point of view of each pilot in question before casting that pilot's vote.
