When North American players are treated to special promotions and events that are denied to our friends in Europe -- usually due to different publishers -- we often hear a bit of grousing (and rightly so). So it was with a recent Welcome Back Weekend that benefited only NA players, while EU gamers tiptoed up to the table and held out their empty bowl, saying, "Please, sir, I want some more."
Happily, Codemasters is doing the EU community one better, by offering a Welcome Back Week from May 10-17. This only benefits former players, however, who may jump back in the game for an entire week of play. On top of the free game time, all players will enjoy the benefit of a 5% bump in XP gain, as well as free travel at the stables.
So grouse no longer, fair folk of Europe -- enjoy your full week of play with no strings attached!

Jack, you're talking out of your arse. Never once have I experienced a 10 minute load-time in LOTRO. Perhaps you just need to buy a half-decent PC.

LOTRO _is_ heavier on the loading than most MMOs I have played. But I also have to say that it's quite light in its demands on your graphics card, given the attractiveness of the visuals. Swings and roundabouts.

Yay for WB week, this is a nice feature in LOTRO. Especially in between expansion when You don't want to sub :)
As for Europe getting some love...huh? WB is only feature we really have. US have:
1. Free last expansion if You bought at least 3 month sub
2. MyLOTRO feature.
3. Communications with dev team at forums.
4. Preview server Bullroarer
5. All nice stuff for US only - like 9.99 $ LOTRO + all xpacks and 30 days time.
Should be enough...

Nice, i really missed running around in middle-earth and looking at those beautiful sceneries lotro has but didn't wanna re-sub just for that. Great timing.

I got an old lotro account from way back, but no longer have the DVDs (read : can't find them cause i'm not organized). Is there a decent way to get the client ? I can't find a link in my account panel to download the client (EU).
