Good luck finding the money to do all that!

You might be 'free2play', California isn't, with a $20 billion budget deficit...

Well he's Asian, so I'm sure he'll figure out a way to magically use math and fix that up.

That wasn't racist.... I SWEAR!

"Joshua is devoted to invest in Telecom and build out California's infrastructure to reflect our position in the global economy"

...and he's going to do this without being able to raise property taxes.... how? Still, California has shown they have no common sense when voting on policy or for public office so I wouldn't be surprised if this guy or some random porn star wins the election.

It's spelled GOVERNOR. Good grief Massively. I ask for the second time in as many days, does the editor even look at these articles before you post them?

see i don't get this. Want to be Governor, go for it. You work includes games and you want to run for governor, okay. I find it gimmicky to have take these two and cross them. I feel he's trying to scoop up gamers votes and win on gamer votes alone.

fuck Schwarzenegger was cali's governor! I don't think it's that hard to win

We have real problems in California right now. Mr. Hong can take his little publicity stunt and piss off.

What you just said. That was oddly... very cool. I actually respect that opinion a great deal.

What a dumb ass. All I see in his list are "Entitlements.Entitlements.Entitlements". No where did I see anything about cutting spending. Free this and Free that. News flash you moron, NOTHING IS FREE. And this cost is choking the life out of California and its citizens. More and more tax payers are leaving that state. And personally, I'm tired of subsdidizing thier reckless spending without even living in the f'n state. Grow up, bite the bullet, and put the tax payers and businesses first in that state instead of all the freeloaders and entitlement programs.

I've got to concur with the rest of the people here. It looks like he's putting Californians, first - except for the ones who will be paying for all of this. For those of you out there, is California adding or losing population? In the coming census are you likely to lose a representative?

The net loss over ten years probably is not that much -- certainly not enough to lose a Congressional seat. Nevada took in tens of thousands of Californians over the first seven years of the decade only to see a large number move back in the last couple of years.

As for Hong running for office. I don't fault anyone for being politically active and running for office but he is nuts if he thinks any part of his platform is going to fly in this election. As was mentioned earlier, CA is $20+ billion in the hole. They are in as bad of shape if not worse then Greece and the IMF is not going to bail them out. Reading Hong's platform it appears as if his mind is in a video game and he has no sense of reality.

Hm, considering I live in california and I voted for the terminator, dunno who to vote for. Maybe I should run it and make all drugs, cig, alcohol taxes to go up and those will pay the education and games itself. :)

if this wasn't so stupid I'd hope the "infrastructure" and "wi-fi" keywords lead to WMAN (Wireless Metropolitan Area Network) Wi-Fi access.
