I gotta' be honest, I have a 10 mil SP character and I don't even play that much. But this magazine is brilliant. It's more like a book, and such high quality. A little expensive-ish, but so worth it.

And still CCP manages to do things abit diffrently - and make it work !

If only there were more creative thinking in the gaming buisness. EVE is a game that has managed to grow on subs only. And the game is getting better all the time while the boxed - expansion games are hitting all sorts of issues with their Isolated worlds ONLY created to make more money instead of thinking about the game.

For most people the problem is not finding a good corp.

EVE is a social game (not facebook-social, really social) and player interaction is what makes it so great.

Just going through the motions and expecting the game mechanics to present you a themepark ride of your life will find you sobbing quietly in the corner while your ship is munching that Veldspar field in some overcrowded 1.0 system in Empire...

What SgtBaker said. The non-PVP parts of EvE were dated at release. What makes EvE fun and makes the PVP have meaning is being in a good corp and knowing that your actions (even non-PVP ones) contribute towards the corporations goals.

Unfortunately for occasionally returning vets like me this can make the game bittersweet because you miss those old corp buddies and old conflicts* you poured so much effort into.

theRaptor, this is why it's extra awesome to have real life friends in the game. When we get together, we're always telling tales of all the epic moments we've had together over the years. There's nothing like a bit of nostalgia :D
