While we may not often see the lush landscapes of Vanguard here, they stand waiting for those who are interested in checking out this scenic world. That's why we're glad to hear from the occasional adventurer who wanders into Vanguard -- and other off-the-beaten-path MMOs like it. Today, we have a great One Shots that comes to us from the intrepid wanderer, Vendayn, who sends us reports on his travels from time to time. He writes:
"Hello from Vendayn. I re-subscribed to Vanguard: Saga of Heroes recently and was amazed at how good the graphics still are. By removing fog in-game, you get an amazing view of the land like you can see in the screenshot. This was taken on Isle of Dawn, while I was doing the Pegasus scouting quest."
If you're playing an MMO that doesn't often get love here on Massively, why don't you grab a screenshot of life in that game and tell us all about it! All MMOs are welcome, from big to small. Just email them in to us here at oneshots AT massively DOT com along with your name, the name of the game, and a description of what we're seeing. We'll post them out here for everyone to look at, and give you the credit for sending it in.

lol this is like the 3rd or 4th time in the last few months that it's started with "We don't often get to see", followed by Vanguard screenshots!

I wish I could fit this game in somehow, but it would affect my other games a bit too much.

I would find the time if I knew this game wasn't officially abandoned by Sony :(

Been thinking of playing this again. I still haven't really sat down to play a game lately. Did a little bit of EQ for some good ole' nostalgia. Got to level 67 (from 51, thanks to mayong), Think I might step away before I get too infatuated.
I think Vanguard would be a good game to mix into my life, without the risk of becoming too addicted.

I played this game for the first 2.5 years it was out and it was alot of fun during that time but eventually most people just move on because they realize the game is dead. The population is pathedic at best and when Soe decides to support it then so will I.

I have a lot of love for VG. I miss it so.
There's definitely something about the openness and general atmosphere of the world there.
Sadly though, a lot of content is also open-world and group orientated. I say 'sadly' because there simply isn't the player population to support it.
=(
