It is really easy to pwn as long as you take a group of six or seven with scramble sensors. Using that causes the shards to stop moving and one person used scramble sensors and then before it ended on the entity, another did it etc. until back to the first person. Once my fleet figured that it we beat it in like 5 mins.

This was super frustrating before that. People were just so confused in local and zone. It was a nightmare.

I had to walk away from STO for week after I hit Ltc. 7 and was trying to kill it. It just frustrated me so much.

Take heart that it is beatable!

This looks like a game app for the iphone. Not that I like the game at all but you could at least represent it with some better rez graphics!

CE wouldnt have been such an issue for people had Cruptic not been forced to change it because some idiots were spending all day farming it for Blues. Killing it in seconds with mines, which prevented anyone else who legitemately wanted to do it from being able to.

Certain people would move from instance to the next mine spamming it to death in seconds getting the blues and moving to the enxt and repeat..over and over and over..

In short order Cryptic saw this and changed it in order to prevent it. The new setup as you rightly note had more to it than simply spamming it with as much DPS as you could..it required tactics..
