Funcom is getting ready to take the wraps off Age of Conan's 1.07 update according to executive producer Craig 'Silirrion' Morrison's Twitter feed. Morrison, who also serves as game director for the sword and sorcery MMORPG, commented that the "update wheels are in motion, last minute hitches permitting, the 1.07 update should be hitting the live servers tomorrow."
The update will feature the much-anticipated Shrines of Bori PvP tweaks, which include a guild conflict mini-game system with a few new wrinkles thrown into the traditional capture-and-hold mix. Additionally, the system will be a new source of PvP reward tokens.
We'll bring you full details on the patch when it officially releases. In the meantime, check out our Shrines of Bori rundown as well as our new Age of Conan weekly column.

Sweet and with this quick release strategy, we should see a fully-working well bug-tested copy tommorow! I mean, Funcom would NEVER release a buggy product to make money and convince people to resubscribe. Nope, not them. This sounds great since the guild versus guild pvp system they promised way back two years ago or so for launch day is finally ready. Err, well...at least a guild vs guild mini-game. Mini-games are good? Like the wii can use them to sell old out-dated shitty-overpriced-hardware systems so why can't aoc use to them to sell buggy shit?
Amirte Funcom?

Just goes to show you thst sometimes you meet/see/hear people who you just can't understand, no doubr another hater who couldn't get over the launch two years ago.
MMO's really do bring the worst out in people, imagine COMPLAINING about a patch of "good stuff".
Weird-o.

Wes' post being a huge waste of time, I actually feel like I need to to try Conan out so that something good comes out of it. Anyone have a referral #/trial buddy key?

I just came back to AoC after the horrid conditions at launch.
At launch:
the game was barely playable
Animations were clunky and didn't quite match up
Loot was dull at best
Abilities were not working
Graphic glitches and lag were out in full force
Now...
the game was barely playable ...FIXED

This game is what all failed-release AAA games should dream for. To those considering going back, I say please do! Get off the island and explore an amazing, well planned, and living world. I would stay on my soap box but I'm too busy having fun.

I might well use the CE I have sitting around, currently bored with nothing new to play for a while, so might as well! :)
