Okay... read "species" in the Season One notes and thought "faction" in the GDC announcement. My bad.

"'Telling the customers what we're working on well beforehand so they know where their game is going.' So darn crazy it just ... might ... work!"

Retard.

Clearly Cryptic is listening to it's fans apparently what fans were telling them is they want a couple of new pvp maps, some new fleet actions, dress up clothes and a vastly expanded cryptic store.Clearly it's the Star Trek Online fans that are crazy not Cryptic!

Well done Cryptic. Looking good to have more content and player races for an ever-expanding ST universe!

I'm looking forward to more. Keep it coming.

If Cryptic would work on making at least the social and non-combat areas "non-instanced" I'd take another look. It would be a really excellent platform for RP gamers even if the combat was a bit shallow. Add some tri-dimensional chess, weird Star Trek instruments, celebrate the different racial and cultural holidays.. but first, the one thing that would need to change is that if you're standing in the same place as someone playing at the same time as them you have to be able to see them - at least in the non-combat areas.

Another Dev co. that would rather add more bugged crap rather than fixing the fundamental problems with the game.

What is it with game developers, specifically MMO devs? Are they trying to kill their own games?

Seriously?

Do I blame publishers for some things? Yep. Devs? Yep. I blame the players most of all, though. They're the ones that keep making the decision that the crap that is being produced is worth their money. Want better games? Stop endorsing sub-par games, people.
