Gala-Net has announced that their upcoming free-to-play MMORPG Aika Online will enter Open Beta on March 16. The PVP-centric title will feature six classes, a leveling curve initially topping out at 50, and a player-run political system consisting of a forever war fought among five factions.
Post-launch plans include regular PVP events similar to those introduced in the closed beta testing. Weekly castle sieges, 1000 vs. 1000 relic theft battles, and traditional battlegrounds are all on the docket. Additionally, class-specific mounts including the War Hamster and the Dual Gunner's Hoverbike will be available upon reaching level 40.
PVE fans won't be left out in the cold either, as we recently noted in our first impressions. Aika's lore, expansive world, and a large assortment of quests look to offer something for everyone.

Could be a fun game, but it's grindy pve. If you could do pvp from level 1 and get xp, it might be pretty sweet, however that is not the case, and I advise anyone not to waste their time on it.

If they can get that mass PvP working (1000 vs. 1000 hasn't been seen in a long time) they could have a winner.
Gonna wait and see but this has potential.

Eh, can anyone tell me how good this game really is near the end?
Personally I barely played it... the whole "hey lets take you to a different screen to accept quests to be edgy and new" thing bugged the hell out of me, specially when it was a repeatable quest, so I had to click through all the talk again and again...

I personally looking forward to raising my pran not that I have yet to play the game, however it really does sound interesting to be able to raise a child which is a twist on a regular mmo to say the lease.

I'll give open beta a shot and see what changes have been made, but I had a hard time getting into Aika during closed beta, the first 10 levels are very boring, it makes you want to quit playing right away. I also could not stand the quest dialogue system. For a game that offers 1000 vs 1000 PvP, I don't understand why you have to grind to get to that point first.

What a pretty screenshot @.@
And notable: asia rendered a female with realistically size breast, covered (armored) in a logical way (no bikini chain mail!)!!
