EQ@ never had characters like that picture suggests! Fraud i say they have fish eyed wombat beaten by an ugly-stick characters!

Yeah Everquests character looks and there outdated UI keep me far away from playing it. And this drawings keep me interested somehow but they are all lies Everquest II does not look noting like that!

They've been doing this monthly for at least a couple of years. For example, here's the one from February:
