i too enjoyed playing aika online CBT1 And CBT2.
Id like to say that it doesnt take long to start getting to see how cool the pvp system is. Of course that the lower lvl u are when u start massively pvping the better you have to be in order to enjoy it or else it turns boring since u cant kill anybody. so thats why if somebody cant pvp is recomended to lvl untill they feel confident enough for it.
And the reward for the pvp is awsome. There are some relics that add +10% exp.
the nation i was in got to have 4 simuntaneously of those and 2 more. Some others reduce cooldown time of the skills, others add 10% attack to hostile nations. so u can see how interesting the game gets once u become a citizen, and for it u have to reach lvl 10....lets say 3 or 4 hours for a slow lvler like me in average.

To people who likes well balanced mmos please give it a try! the game might not seem so but its really worth it!

I can't help thinking this Pran system is peddling Paedolphilia out as acceptable, it's very very weird on a whole bunch of levels, would be no better if it was a little boy either.

Something about it is just "not right", & yeah I know how th eastern mindset works, this kind of topic is perfectly acceptable in animation form to them, I can't agree with that though.

I've only gotten the chance to play "Aika Online" CB2. From what i've played, It was a great start and since it's been shut down i've missed it greatly. I find myself playing other games that seem very pointless and it gets me thinking about how fun it was playing "Aika Online".

I cannot wait until it finally opens officially. Im very excited to see the rest of the game and though i only played a couple of days and didnt get to see all of it, I did get a chance to reach level 21.

Warlock is a fun class, I really liked the skills and they were easy to use. I didnt get to see the "AOE" skills i was really looking forward to seeing nor did I get to PvP. I tried my hardest to level my character to 25 but i just could not reach my goal(suppose i started trying a bit too late :P).

Looking forward to start over and this time reach my goal. Also, the "Pran" system was amazing!

I've never been one for PvP or ginders or really very willing to invest time/money into F2P. With Aika though I sit here in between CB phases anxious and on edge to hear the news of when I can play again. I made a lot of friends surprisingly to me as it's usually hard to find that in a lot of these F2P. I loved how even though I never PvPd I made it to lvl 40 easily with only quests and instancing. The quests themselves are extremely engaging and you will come across several very interesting NPCs. (yes I read the very long winded quest texts) I admit to being a very hard to please gamer but am so happy I found Aika and gave it a real try. I love the game, I love the community, and I love and miss my Pran. I encourage everyone to really give this one a chance and PLEASE read the quest dialogues. I found myself Lolling irl so many times.

I completely agree with your synopsis on PvP v. PvE. I, to be honest, suck at PvP most of the time, so when I heard this was a PvP based MMO, I just about turned the other way. I'm glad I didn't, as it does offer plenty for those less PvP inclined people to do. And I'm proud to say that I was one of those people helping newbs with their pran quest.

I'm sorry but there is no excuse for gender based classes.
If, in a 2000 person fight, you need a pair of potential breasts to figure out what you're fighting, you're really paying attention to the wrong thing.

Maybe the giant rifle in their hands or the two handed sword may be a better method.
