When Farmville generates more than 1 billion dollars yearly, wake me up.

Up until then ... don't even bother.

7, 70 or 700 million people may play what they want (Hearts or minesweeper or just fill in here), the moment is doesn't generate anything over the WOW amount above, please do carry on.

Good lord.

I play WoW. I also played FV, for about a week, just to see what all the hype was about and what my mom & sisters kept talking about. I'm right in the age/gender demographic that FV supposedly aims for.

BORING.

WoW's got nothing to fear. It's a completely different animal from FV. How anyone can consider FV even a "game" is beyond me; no strategy, no thought, no planning, just constant clicking on various animals. BORING.

The Sims gives you more to watch and have fun with, fer cryin' out loud; there's plenty more FB games that actually require thought and planning. FV isn't a game. It's an excuse to develop carpal tunnel.

Yeah..as an avid hater of all things Facebook and Myspace I really don't see this replacing WoW for me. Last thing I need is to be trying to raise a pony on some cheap ripoff game only to be hit on constantly by some lonely perve just because I'm a chick. Yeah.. I'll stick to WoW where I can /ignore those lil bastards and when I want to raise some veggies and chickens I'll go play a real farm game like Harvest Moon or one of it's decendants on console.

Why would people quit something like WoW for a facebook javascript game? Never played WoW, don't plan on it, but that would be like putting down your Xbox controller to play hangman by yourself. And how could farmville actually be considered a MMORPG anyway? Because your friends can come and click on a couple of your plants here and there? Send free worthless gifts that do nothing for you? I can see in a way how it's considered that, but still.

I have a great computer/internet plan and experience nothing but slow speed's from they're "Beta". And who runs a beta for years too? For some reason or another I "play" farmville, and right when i finish i ask myself two things; what now and why did i just spend my time doing this...but I get on there a week later to pull my crops, rake the dirt and plant new ones. Screw it, I'm going over to Amazon and buying me some WoW...I'll see ya on there, better waste of time than farmville.
