Website is really cool, and it sounds somewhat interesting. Is this game already released or being tested in Asia? The website had only teaser info, but no feature list to go off of. Perfect World is keeping busy publishing games, they got Battle of Immortals and Kung Foo in the works, recently published Torchlight, and I imagine they will assist in helping complete Torchlight Online.

This game has a features list that puts Age of Conan to shame EASILY and is being devloped and published by Perfect World entertainment as a F2P game with a cash shop.

Amount other things:

"Every player will be able to impact greatly on appearance of the world and the gameplay itself. Almost each decision will change the world as we know, so if you go inactive - do not be surprised to find a totally different world and game, the next month you login."

"Unlike in other mmos, the world will be greatly affected by events happening in it - When strong bosses appear, they will send a meteor showers thorough the world, burn trees, freeze the lakes or wither the grass they walk on."

Players will be able to become gods and be worshiped by other players.

Totally reinvented PKing.

Totally reinvented Crafting.

Stunning graphics.

The list goes on and on, now lets see them deliver...............

The beginning of the trailer looks way too similar to the ending video for Warcraft 3 The Frozen Throne (I think it is at least, I only watched the videos without actually playing the game). For a moment I thought you added the wrong video.

As for the game, it will probably be just another grindfest. The features listed by Holgar look nice, but I doubt it will be like that. Still, I'd like to be proven wrong which is why I applied for the beta.

Hmmm I wonder if this means CCP are ready to make an announcement about World of Darkness and PW want a slice of the pie before the big gun white wolf title floods the media market.

if in the WoD you can be a vampire and turn mobs into ghouls to do your bidding and even other players you bite for a timed amount then it would pwn

Hmmm, can this game actually provide more than a pretty setting to run around in until one becomes bored because there is no story (or much of anything else) to drive you on? I'm intrigued - the early days of both PW and JD were fun enough, and this promises (key word) to be a different beast altogether.

Reading about the various "crafting" professions was interesting. There's very little info given, but it seems that these professions are very tightly knit with the gameplay itself. In quite a few cases, your profession directly influences what you're doing in the game. For example, it looks like any class can tame a pet (which you actually raise and train) to fight with you. It also looks like players will be creating roads (and therefore most likely city building and so forth). It's going to be interesting to learn more.

It looks interesting, previously known as Project EM, and made with an "international" development team, this was built from the ground up to be their new flagship title so it will be interesting to see what the game delivers.

As far as races & classes go, it looks to me to be the same as PWI where the race, gender & class are exclusive, as in the only Warrior is the Human the only Human is the Warrior etc, a restriction which I always find especially annoying.

I don't know if you guys have been on the PWI website lately, but it looks like they now own Torchlight. Probably old news to most of you, but I thought I'd put it out there for those that did not know.
