It's disheartening that they're still trying to get things like gear stat allotments working right. And that they still haven't figured out how to make the core mechanic of their end game actually function this long after launch.

Why don't MMO developers stand upon the shoulders of giants like the developers of all other genres do? Pardon my French, but shit moves on and evolves. No developer in their right mind would make a clone of GTA3 and expect it to be successful given the advancements in sandbox games since then. Why MMO developers, to this day, given the clear success of Blizzard in regards to design decisions, still releases and tries to polish turds like WAR and Aion, is beyond me.

And I know NCSoft made comparative bananas off Aion. Buts lets be real: a 800% gain for them would be like a %50,000 loss for a truly successful developer like Blizzard or Bioware.

WAR has to many issues to ever recover. Thats kinda sad cause the game could have been so much more. Where did it fail ? Thats simple - overemphasis on RVR that never could work based on the orginal core systems.

This is the 4th producer for the game in last year. Everyone must know what it means and if you are looking for a future and new content in the MMO you want to play - then stay away from Warhammer Online.

If you are looking for a future and new content in an MMO you want to play - then wait for the next huge title and/ or content, but stay away from bashing around you... And in the meantime you can even play games (like WAR or anything else) in the present :)

Class balance has to be one of the biggest problems with this game... and yet it is not being addressed in the next three patches. *sigh*

If they ever addressed the class imbalance in WAR it would solve the population imbalance.

With the new changes and rewards being offered for scenarios, I can easily see the system degrading into Rifting (and Counter-Rifting) pre-made groups farming the crap out of them for weapons.

Meanwhile, pre-40 characters still only have 3 weapon models and 3 armor meshes to chose from while levelling.

Population imbalance isn't the problem. Its teamwork. There are plenty of people doing stuff @ all hours. Just gotta get the guilds to stop fighting amongst themselves and organize a push.

Too many newbs give up to quickly against opposition.
