The desperation of devs to mitigate blame is shown here, in the most vile of examples. Cleaning a stable.

My question is this, when the Guildwar devs look at a monitor do they see Kun Shao looking back at them.

(yes humor)

As you see, the Devs have tried to give us a new and interesting thing to play with while we waited for GW2, and it failed miserably. The lesson to them is: never try.

I'm sorry but the XTH was up before GW2 was even announced. I also wouldn't say it failed miserably, it was great while it lasted, but in the end, there was just too many issues with the feature.

If developers listened to you, most games out there wouldn't be getting any updates because of your idiotic 'never try' statement. That's not how the game industry works. They SHOULD be trying new and exiting things, and even if those ideas fall through, it means that they have learned from this lesson, and from now on, they can improve upon it.

If nobody ever tried new things, we'd be playing the same games forever...

Also, assuming anything written on the Internet should be taken literally and that nobody posts things jokingly or sarcastically is a great idea.

Assuming that people will assume what you wrote was a joke or sarcasm without a hint of it is also a great idea :)

To me, anyways, I didn't read anything that stood out as a joke or sarcasm.

So, basically every living thing in Tyria should receive 50 free points? I wonder when we'll see Glint pick up her share...
