Good to see Mynxee moving forward with that infamous Hellcat energy. We all know a good story requires conflict - which requires a villain of some sort.

The hellcats have all of 10 people from their corp info in game. Their alliance is larger, with one of the corps at 112 people, but corp numbers are often inflated by inactive people and alts. Apart from being head of an all-girl corp, does she really matter that much?

Piracy itself in game is kind of meh. Usually lowsec piracy is some bored people camping the gates to catch noobships, t1 haulers, and newbie frigs. Chances are Mynxee's alliance is just going to wardec hi-sec mining corps that can't fight back and call it "piracy" same as the other corps in game.

I'd rather see interviews with the Goons, CVA CEO's, -A-, or people that are currently in political struggles or shape the game in meaningful ways. I mean heck, even compared to an merc corp like Noir. I don't see Hellcats or Mynxee affecting much.

Dblade: Tell that to the dozens or hundreds of pilots that Mynxee and the Hellcats have flown with since their inception. Tell that to the tons of people that hang out in their pub channel all the time, discussing piracy. Tell that to the many readers of her blog and the entire blog community in which she has a large influence. Yes, I am sure that Mynx and her corp get extra consideration for articles like this for being female but that is because it is a rarity and uncommon thing to encounter Eve and gaming in general.

Just because something isn't relevant or exciting to you, doesn't mean it isn't so for plenty of other people who play Eve. I for one would rather have some variety than hear the same old boring crap about the same old boring 0.0 lag blob warfare we always hear about.

Mynxee is overrated. Her entire corp is mostly defunct, they never play, they haven't *pirated* anything with any regularity for months and months, and they all raised their sec status (the ones that even play).

Mynxee is a fraud, and not a real outlaw.

Mynxee has style. She has organized some great events and is undoubtedly the Pirate Queen of EVE.

While it's sort of true hellcats has been on the back burner activity-wise, and hasn't done much of anything, you cannot deny the contribution the hellcats CHAT at least makes to new Eden, without it, I could have never run Hulkageddon II at the scale I did, or gathered so many prizes.

Maybe I'll just go nag them all till they start kicking more ass, my nagging is known to have devastating results.

Too ugly to whore yourself at LiveJasmine?

Then be an attention seeking female in an MMO whilst bigging yourself up that you're some kind of Equal opportunities crusader and breaking that glass ceiling that only exists in your head
