Allods is a wonderful game but the NA needs some work with communication and GM's.
After my issue where I got banned and you can read more here:
http://kanehart.com/2010/02/02/allods-online-banned-for-trying-to-save-the-game/
I had actual GM's on the EU server and many friendly people come up to me and tell me to play EU. Unfortunately that will not work out for me but people say for some reason the NA servers think there better then all the other servers. If you talk about EU on their forums you get in crap. It's really strange.
I have yet to be unbanned yet I keep pushing for it but they don't do anything about it..
I don't know what to say I love allods I support it yet I'm not welcome to play it.

So why is this happening?
Allods is adding an effect called Fear of Death. At level 40 it lasts 51 minutes and removes 25% of your stats and stacks 4 times.
So what's the big deal?
It would appear that the point is to sell a cash shop item (potion) that lasts 30 minutes, debuffing the FoD.
Interestingly, Allods stated that no gameplay effects would ever come from the item mall (refer interview on MMORPG.com). Additionally, the potion also increases the users stamina greatly.

It's a real shame because Allods has so much going for it, but in the end even *it's* developers aren't immune to greed. (And yes, we all realise that revenue has to come from somewhere, but to deliberately debilitate players to such a massive degree, with the only cure being a potion from the cash-shop, is just.. wrong.)
MMO's are becoming the 'sea monkeys' of current times :S
