Hope they don't need a lot of bandwidth because internet service in the Middle East SUCKS. Just a step above dialup and ten times more expensive.

Not all of the middle east, the Gulf States (UAE, Oman, Kuwait) have fast connections. Many places in Egypt and Jordan also have connections that compare to the U.S.

The other countries, I agree.

I knew why Iraq's sucked. I wonder why Bahrain was so bad. I've heard Iran is awful too.

I only tried Kuwait once at the airport hotel. Not only was it awful but every other website was blocked.

Two times while I was there, a dragged anchor in Egypt cut internet services to almost nothing (pulled some fiberoptic cable).

As someone who lives in the middle east I must agree with mpdivo, internet connection of 5 mega costs like internet connection of 10 mega in most of the other countries, also, if you really wanna play well and play games/surf on internet webs that their servers aren't located in your country you have to buy something that called "gamers pack"...
