Nice show. I enjoyed listening, thanks.

Shawn - I liked the way you were staunch about your feelings towards Cryptic's dealings, whilst remaining professional and informed at the same time.
Here's hoping they think twice about continuing their current business methodology into the future, although I highly doubt they will..

I've been keeping an eye on the Mortal Online beta for awhile now, and so far the open beta isn't going so well.

I haven't so much as been able to play it, due to their horribly broken patcher.
And I'm not the only one, many people have experienced similar problems.

MO has potential, but unless they fix the basics before release, I just can't see how MO will survive in the long run. But I'll keep an eye on it, and see what happens.

Hey! thx for mentioning, it makes me still wondering what Turbine does all day.. There is still that unannounced BIG MMO where they got like $120MIO to spend on.. (my money goes to HarryPotter MMO)
And as a player, I notice the updates are not so big as in the beginning. Of course I understand this, cause undoubtfully @ release, there were lots and lots of ideas still unimplemented. Digg up your news about how Mirkwood is recieved....
We as players got BIG, BIG new areas like Forochel, Evendim, events where server-wide things had to be collected, new 'battles' in Angmar, Broken-, fixed-, then again super-broken-PVP in the game.
Let me make it clear, still love Turbine, I sense players are just afraid LOTRO is kinda forgotten..... (less news, smaller expansions/updates..)

Greetings!
