Today, we launch into Star Trek Online! Our ongoing mission: to explore strange new worlds; to seek out new life and new civilizations; to boldly go where no man has gone before. Well OK, not since beta, anyway. Still, it's always exciting to hold a shiny new MMO box in your hands -- made even nicer when you're a huge Star Trek fan and have managed to get your hands on the Collector's Edition.
Curious as to what came in this shiny metallic box now that you've checked out all of our launch day coverage? Well, travel along with us as we put it into warp and set off for a gallery look in the package.

That format you see with the 'Book' bound in the DVD holder is known as a 'Digi-book'. It is reviled and despised by all sane DVD / Blue-Ray collectors. Sad to see that it has made its way to game distribution.

The CE for Tabula Rasa was also limited and I found one in my local Wal-Mart clearance rack for $10 two nights ago.

Did you have to feed the box a dollar bill to get it to open?

Pants. And Cryptic will rob you blind until you realise what a bait and switch, nickel and dime company they are and have suckered you, exploiting your Trek fan interest to the max, until you cancel the sub to keep what little money you have left to your name. Evidence = $15 subscription-model basic game + anything else must be bought in an online store. Disgusting!
