I saw this video this weekend when they premiered it on gamespot. I have to say its pretty lackluster. I am a fan of TSW thus far but this was not a good teaser.

I just want to add that because of the disappointment of the community Funcom said that they are working on another version of this trailer and that they will release it soon...

I honestly think that the trailer I just watched, has to be different from the one you guys seen. I loved it. Every second of it. This is the type of game that looks right down my alley.

I see the Lovecraft influences, but I also see the works of Stephen King, Dean Koontz, and some of the other lesser knowns out there. This game looks to be shaping up into something I really, really, REALLY want to play.

Looks great. And generally TSW is very enticing looking..

Only one gripe though; the voiceover seem dull, out of place. Almost like he doesn't believe a word of what he is saying...

Actually the voicing is great. This guy really seems like a hardened zombie fighter: a "been there, done that" mentality with very little hope for anything.

I don't know...that trailer didn't do much to inspire...all I could think was...Resident Evil and Left 4 Dead...yeah, zombies, the living dead, and whatever else that walks with a putrid stench... kinda deja vu, lol...

I actually liked this trailer. They have said there are many types of monsters in the area and in the world.

But i do love a good Zombie movie so maybe I am biased.

This managed to get me more excited about this game. I am hopeful for some gameplay footage soon - rather than just game engine footage.

I would also like to know how the MMO part of this game works. I am getting slightly fearful of a single player game with a monthly fee, like the new Star Wars MMO seems to be revealing itself to be.

"For all of you asking this question: Yes, the #TSW Kingsmouth video is all in-game footage - no trickery. Aside from the distortion and B&W. "

Considering this game is still potentially up too two years away I doubt there was much other footage they could of shown, so it's a bit harsh to slate the trailer for not showing that much info.

The great thing is they are trying something different. All they need to do now is plow some of that originality into the game play and we may have a much needed winner :)

Looks more like a single player game. How they going to take a single town and make it an MMO?
