Is the screenshot that has accompanied this article a commentary on how the Mako was one of the worst handling and downright awful vehicles to drive around and how the best decision Bioware made in Mass Effect 2 was to get rid of it? :D

It's strange but I am finding myself kinda missing the Mako in ME2 (probably because I find the scanning mechanic a little... irritating at times, especially for a completionist like me ;-) ).

But back to the question in hand, for me I like to take screenshots when I see something that makes me go "Wow!". So for example I took a bunch of screenshots the first time I entered Forochel in LotRO and saw the night-lights in the sky there - very cool moment for me.

Incidentally, for story heavy games (or ones with definite milestones), I would love an automatic screenshot system similar to that in Dragon Age: Origins where the game would take the screenshot for you when, for example, you beat a raid boss for the first time, or when you complete a long and complex quest line.

Actually it’s funny. I was just complaining to the guys at work about the new planet mining mechanic. Sure it’s quicker and more efficient but boring as hell. I'm really starting to hate mining in ME2.

I much preferred zipping along in the Mako exploring, and just being awestruck by the beautiful scenery... as you can see it the screenshot above.

That’s my only complaint in ME2. The rest is fabulous.

I miss the Mako. I loved driving it on unexplored planets and I have a bunch of screen shots to show for it. I also loved blowing thing up with it LOL! I played on the PC, not the Xbox. I heard the Mako worked better on the PC, so that's probably why.

I agree, I loved the Mako. Not only for finding resource but for just zipping around a plant. I can't wait for the Hammerhead to come out
