Again I wish I could reply to a reply. It looks as if it's a reply to the first guy who posted, when it's really a reply to the one who replied to him :D

JP - Find whoever was arguing with them and say "I told you so" to them. You're just saying "I told you so!" to the air. It reminds me of people who go in and make posts on message boards about a game saying "Who says this game is going to be a WoW killer?! I'll be back in 6 months to tell you I told you so!" And everybody is like "Uh, nobody said it's going to be a WoW killer, what are you talking about?" But he comes back in 6 months to say "I told you so" anyway. Yeah, you told us something we all already knew and weren't disagreeing with, whoopee.

Anyway as soon as Champions Online started, and I saw that the nemesis system we were promised wasn't actually even done, and then when it was further down the line (a lot further than a casual player likes). And all these little things they do where they're trying to run a pay to play game along with an item shop too - money grubbing, you pick one or the other, don't do both. And they aren't the only ones, Sony has done it for years, WoW is trying to get into it now too and lord knows they make enough money. But I do make a stand instead of whining, I have canceled my account, and I am very happy for doing so.

The sad part is I'm about to start playing another Cryptic game, I just can't help it, Star Trek Online is so different and the beta was really a new and cool experience for me. I'm going to play that briefly, until Cryptic starts to flush that game down the toilet too, then I'll quit. But I do want to try it out for a bit and experience the fun of a new game for a bit before they screw it up too bad (at least it's more developed than Champions was, but still they're releasing it and hoping to finish it after release, again, and are underestimating the speed some people will get to max level). I won't be one of them to hit max level, but if they start trying to nickle and dime us by charging money for game extras in a game I'm paying for monthly, I'm not only not paying them for any extras, but I will quit playing again.

If Cryptic keeps making these decisions, it's going to be their own fault when they get flushed down the toilet. Nobody is disagreeing tho, so I'm not going to be a beetch and come back and say "I TOLD YOU SO" to the air when they do :D
