You won't take crappy gameplay for very long when Interplay can't even pay to keep the lights on. Really doubt they have the muscle anymore to put out quality titles. Oh wait... I forgot they just re-released Boogerman for WiiWare. Now there's a "great story".

I concede your point that Interplay probably shouldn't be making this game. Bethesda, however, has proven themselves as clumsy inheritors of the IP.

I thought Fallout 3 was fun, but I would agree with you that it certainly wasn't an inspired game. It was Elder Scrolls with a different skin, there's little point denying that. If Bethesda made some bold design choices and went out of the box a little (perhaps taking a cue from some of the strong modders of Bethesda games) then maybe we'd end up with something worth paying continually for. I guess for me Interplay has become something of an unknown quantity the past few years, we really don't know what they're capable of anymore.
