Craftable loot is always important business, and in Global Agenda it's no different. There are always some neat surprises waiting for those who are willing to gather some items, do some research, and get to work in the fabrication chambers.
Xzaph over at the HexAgenda fansite has put together a pretty comprehensive screenshot list of Global Agenda's tier one and tier two blueprint offerings, confirming that there are a few more tricks in those crafting recipes than people have believed. Did you know that you can craft yourself a small squadron of androids to watch your back as pets, or put together a mini-nuke to completely wipe away any resistance within 200 feet?
Beyond being able to build those types of tricks in battle, it seems that there's also an item that must be crafted before your agency can take over a specific region -- the Sovereign Forge -- which may lead to us seeing more "key" items appearing down the road in Alliance vs. Alliance, should the Forge work out.

I am really wondering if this game's crafting will turn to be worth the monthly subscription. I mean, alot of games, for the $15/mo, or $10/mo or whatever, give you an absolute TON of content, a whole world in most cases.....that the amount of benefit from subscribing to Global Agenda....well, lets hope it can compete! Although, crafting armor, weapons....or little addons would certainly be useful.

Tech I and Tech II equipment and blueprints? Smells like EVE Online.

The game does have a major EVE feel to it, with the political system and territories. But the crafting system isn't that big for anyone in the game. Unless your in a powerful agency. Went against a few that brought in vindicators and sams, we were wiping cream on our @** for a week.

I'm guessing vindicators and sams are the equivalent of capitals and super-capitals?
Okay, now you've made me wondering who are the equivalent of GoonSwarm and IT Alliance in Global Agenda...

Goonswarm is GoonAgenda... and my agency/alliance is at war with them =D horray I get to shoot goons in EVE and GA =D
The real goodies of crafting, besides player implant stuff from the pve missions, is built on the territory hex maps after the 2-3 hour windows of bidding and fighting goes on, tanks, robots, upgraded versions of deployables, nukes, etc.
This game IS about pvp, it IS about agency vs agency combat, the other stuff is what to do in between and there is no soloing at all (thank goodness). The good thing is the barrier for pvp entry is a hellva lot lower than EVE's, the stuff you bring to the AvA battles do get destroyed and have to be rebuilt, assuming you have territory left...and you have the instant matchmaking pvp for making money, killing people, having fun.
Oh and the tanks and stuff you build are player piloted, it isn't a random pet.
The people 30 and above will mop the floor with you if you don't know what you're doing however, 30 being when all the devices are open to you. But even a team with level 5s on them can still kill them, just like EVE. (Max lvl 50 btw)

Really want to play this..but with Mass Effect 2, White Knight Chronicles, FFXIII, and a whole list of others coming out in Feb and March..I'm going to have to shove this one to the "wait for a price cut" list. Which may not be soon considering the game is fairly decent.
