Clearly Massively is receiving money under the table from the Dwarves.

It's true. Unfortunately due to FCC's (Fae Cash Commission) new rules, I must admit to my involvement with the dwarves. They are, indeed, paying me in gold and Dwarven mithril.

Soon enough, I'll have enough mithril to knit my own chainmail bikini to get my armor class down to -10. (That's right bitches, THAC0. The real gamer's combat system.)

What, no ale?

Also, THAC0 is too recent for my tastes. Too... "advanced."

The "rune" is a Japanese character turned sideways (if the sword was held upright, it would be correct). I don't think that's proof. ;)

Alright cryo, just tell us how much these elves paid you for your elf-winged smear tactics.

Initially I was going to disagree as it only looks like the character with slightly less exaggerated lines like it should have, but all the other swords in the game have Japanese characters on them.

cryomax is right Sera.

Ivasen, don't you see?! The Japanese themselves are elves! Ninjas? Nope, its an elf blending into the shadows aka Night Elves! Katanas, often times considered the most finely crafted blade, elves are also known for crafting swords and edged weapons of exquisite beauty, and lethal efficiency, just like the Japanese.

So in fact, she is still correct, and you two have fallen into the double-layered trap those crafty elven folk have laid out!

Good read, I likey.

What Hi-Rez really doesn't want you to know though, is that the game is neither an MMO nor an FPS; heavily instanced, played like Guild Wars, uses third-person perspective unless you use scope. Another thing that they'd probably like to keep secret for as long as possible is that despite the cartoony, simplistic looks, it performs horribly on PCs that run every other Unreal engine based game without so much as a hitch.

Funny thing is that none of these are secrets. HiRez has been honest with the player base from the get go. If you went into the game expecting something else, without doing research, then that is your fault. They haven't tried to deceive us at any point. The game is what it is and plenty of people enjoy it, myself included.

I forgot to add, that I'm in an agency with almost 200 people and we have had maybe 2-3 people with performance issues. Stop generalizing things when they simply aren't true. The game runs perfectly on my year old machine at full settings. No crashing, no framerate drops what so ever.

colroofles, omg u stupid shit, it is an MMO, since it IS massively multiplayer and online, and guild wars has absolutely NOTHING in common with it, guild wars is a game u can finisha in a day that has 20 lvls, and that is sooo easy it sux, maple story is probably harder. look at TF2, that has cartoony graphics, global agenda does not, and your PC sucks monster chodes, because it runs on my windows XP, and my windows 7 labtop, without lagging at all, and offcourse its not an FPS, its not first person, its a TPS, third person shooter, if u have to say its played like another game, then its a mix up between gears of wars, even though it has abilities, its a new kinda play style, if u only know the shame of all mmorpgs AKA guild wars, u rly shouldnt comment.
