Why is it that all the Second Life articles here are about the business or infrastructure of the company or game, but not aspects of the game or players themselves?

terms aside, i agree, i miss articles about things that happen, cultural aspects, new products, sports, interesting builds...

hm, how about a piece about the leak of the secret wiki of the JLU? (was that recent? i forgot to look for dates when i was seeing the pages someone sent me the links to)

Well, if you look back we used to do more of that - but there is a ferocious amount of stuff happening, and while all of that is relevant and interesting to a segment of Second Life users, the business/infrastructure side impacts them all. So that gets priority.

Plus we got *so* many people complaining about how they were being 'forced' to read SL posts ;)

Do expect to see some increased coverage, in the coming weeks though.

Lethality just likes to bitch on every single SL post about... well about how he doesn't know anything about SL, so presumably all of Massively should realign with his ignorance. Give it up Lethality.

The JLU crap belongs on the Herald... or whatever they're calling themselves these days.

Didn't Massively cover when those people infiltrated in that big organization in that MMO with space battles and ruined a battle or somthing? Though with a different color of seriousness, this sounds like a somewhat comparable event....

Player to player experience is directly connected to the infrastructure and "sub-systems" of the game, and Linden Lab as a business is, too. Whether Massively covers it well could be a question for some people.

Let me provide a crude example of what I'm trying to say: If legacy sub-system A and B go down while being upgraded then my sex pose ball may not rez when I issue the command for it to, and then I look like a fool standing there in game, naked, in the proximity of a naked sex partner, and it's all very fucked but not the way I want it to be fucked. You see?
