The Daily Grind: What's your favorite fashion?

Let's not try to deny this -- MMO players are kinda vain. We're always looking for loot that not only has better stats, but also makes us look better. Why have a plain old sword when you can have a glowing sword? Why have a glowing sword when you can have a glowing sword that drips poison and sings Christmas carols when you stab someone? You see my point here.

So today we want to know what's MMO vogue. What's your favorite armor set, or armor piece, or weapon in all of the worlds you have inhabited? Was it something you saw in World of Warcraft, or Second Life, or any other game out there? If you can, be sure to link us some pictures -- we want to see what you think is in style.

I know it was not stricly an MMO but Arkaine's Valor in Diablo one was amazing at the time. My Rogue looked the business!

Aaah... Diablo II.
No weapon or piece of armor in any game since has come quite close, IMO.
I think it was the immense amount of details put into such a small (pixel-area-wise) item, as well as the references to lore.

The last 4 pieces of Normal Unique Armor always appealed greatly to me:

The Hall-warden armour for LotRO is pretty awesome.

Aside from the individual sets I simply love the cosmetic system in LotRO, especially since they've let characters start using it from level 1. I'm definitely vain when it comes to these kinds of games: I can think of WoW and Torchlight specifically where I've sacrificed slightly stronger armour in favor of a piece that either completed the set or just looked a lot better. So I appreciate the cosmetic system as it lets me have the best armour and still have cool looking outfits, aesthetically.

Was probably a big factor in hooking me to the game. Seeing high level Japanese in the classic/retro/iconic final fantasy armor was aw-inspiring way back when FFXI launched. Back then level 60 was serious business (and a serious grind) and so was "AF" armor.

I have a Necromancer's Vabbian set as well, but this is IMO the loveliest armor in the game.

I always try to get kit in whatever game that is black, preferably matte black.

My favourite set of armour of all times is, with no doubt, the male warrior Luxon elite armour set of Guild Wars (note that the armour set in the link is painted yellow, whereas I have painted my own set silver. That means only the yellow parts get repainted; the bulk of the armour retains the green colour of the Jadeite that is used in the crafting of it):
