Definitely not, Tigro ;) Linden Lab loves all avatars from all colours... specially the ones that have been flocking to Second Life :)

Tats, thanks for the article and the wonderful comic :) I wonder if anyone has forwarded an alternate explanation for the "sudden increase" of concurrency and transactions. So far the link to the launch of the "Avatar" movie and the LL "blue avatar" ad would point out to be the driving force behind that.

... unless that trend keeps going on. http://status.secondlifegrid.net/ even shows that we had some hiccups the past two weeks, with lots of maintenance and server upgrades, which usually have the opposite effect (users leaving and concurrency going down) until the work finishes and we get a more stable grid. Now that we have a more stable grid and the effect of the ad hasn't faded yet, I wonder if SL will continue its rising trend once more... until the SL 2.0 viewer gets released, which will be, I think, another turning point. We'll see. 2010 has started well so far :) Let's hope it remains that way.

I've been sky blue in SL for ages. Anyone who does it now is just a johnny/joanne-come-lately who may not get the mindset that goes into the color xD
