The game is Awesome i've only been in CB3 but from what i've seen its polished and nice.
The Auto Attacking bugs me alot as i'm lvl 12 and i'm not going to stop using my attack skill.
The minimap in my opinion is a refreshing change i never liked them and in a PvP game people just use them to find and kill unsuspecting lowbies, so this removal is very well recieved in my opinion.
There were some small niggles like the chat being hard to read and lots of excessive typing of the same line that bugged me but so small its not a issue.
The one last thing is the Cash Shop, I love F2P games and this CS hasn't got any "use credit card to Win" items in it and i hope it stays that way. The people who complain about F2P games can Cry me a river as this game is a shining Gem of F2P games so far.

This game definitely has that old comfort feeling. It is why so many people compare to other games.

Is this the best game ever? Please don't over-hype. WAR disappointed us, and now they are fighting for survival. This game, like so many has flaws.

PvP, flagging is on the way. Apx 20 players were able to shut down leveling for both factions during CB3. What a flop. Will flagging fix the issue? Some players are already planning on "quest item camping" to try and force PvP on PvE oriented players.

PvE, the fights to date are just simple tank-n-spanks. Simple quest and easy instances make for a NON-boring grind. The repeating reputation quest are just long enough to help avoid the "boredom." Will Astral Bosses be better? Wait and see, I hope to see a transition, easy(tank-n-spank), medium(small coordination), difficult(extreme planning).

RP, does not exist in game to date. I have not found any indication on how this will be implemented. RP like their own servers for total immersion. Zone chat is the usually barrage of trash talk.

Overall, a fun game. Quick to learn, fun to play and free. Item shop items so far in game are not "game breaking."

"Though, I'm sure many would agree that the MMO experience is most enjoyable with a group of friends rather than being a lone ranger."

That's a faulty assumption. If you make an interesting game world, players of all sorts may well be interested. Limiting your game design to those who prefer grouping is intentionally cutting out a segment of your potential userbase. That's not a good idea, especially in the F2P arena, where grazing customers are more valuable than in the subscription arena.
