Doesn't SL Search also look at the objects you have on your parcel (at least the object names) and throw them into the mix too - assuming you've opted to 'Show in Search'? Do we really need to bolt-on an external web solution, shouldn't we make the actual content on a parcel figure more prominently in the Search system too? Or how about incorporating our 'Picks' - so if you add your own parcel to your own Picks and enter alternative information there, that would figure in searches too?

@Eris: Yes, GSA looks at objects marked for search on parcels that are also listed in search. It would be nice if parcels could have something similar to covenants for descriptions where you could drop in a note card.

There are different ways of looking at keyword stuffing. There was the old way where people used to put words such as "sex" in their meta tags to try and drive traffic even when there was no sex on their site.

Then there's using keywords your site doesn't really have relevance to, similar to the above.

In Second Life however keyword stuffing is usually employed because relevant content can't be explained adequately in that short description field. Compare the picks and classifieds boxes to those of the parcel description. They should be dealing with the issue of the short description box before getting all high and mighty about keyword stuffing.

Google's love of text is part of the reason why my old sw.slr project ranked higher in results than the world.secondlife.com documents that LL use with the search appliance.
