I really hope this winds up being the CoD MMOFPS, especially after the SOE rumor.

Based on that description, I would say I am uninterested. Then again, Blizzard is making it, so I retract my previous statement. They are the only company that gets that privilege.

Sounds like what Flagship tried to do with Hellgate: London's online mode.

Yeah..

Man, what's with this site and rumours. I feel like I'm perez hilton's site. I thought you were supposed to reports news? I'd much rather you stick with actual news then try to be the "first" to report a rumour

I ahve the feeling they want to beat Borderworlds to the punch. Inf any game was meant to be made into a mmofps, that game is it.

My guess is Infinity Ward and Blizzard working together to create sci-fi MMOFPS.

People are fed up of the medieval, dungeons and dragons. They are fed up of mages, paladins and assasins. They want things like shooters and space.

SWTOR is starting the trend, many more will follow. I am sure Blizzard does a great job.

You fantasy guys have about 300 or 400 games to pick from, let them make something interesting for once.

Blizzard knows how to make a good game, and creating an MMOFPS is an excellent idea - not only is it distant enough from WoW, it is also a new concept with a lot of supporters, including myself. Of course, most MMO players expect character progression, so I wonder how they'll do it.
