One thing that you can pretty much guarantee in EVE Online: if you ever run across this many ships and you aren't in Jita, you'd better hope you have an up-to-date clone, or that they're on your side. If not, it's likely going to get very, very ugly in very short order -- assuming someone doesn't turn tail and run like hell, anyway. Today's huge fleet screenshot comes to us from Andrew, who writes in: Geminate is burning. The allied forces of Atlas, Cult of War, and Gentlemen's Club have invaded, and the Northern Coalition has suffered 3 straight days of defeats. This shot shows the lead elements of another allied fleet, venturing forth to fight the Northern Coalition.
If you've been part of an epic battle, we'd love to see it! Just send those pictures in to us here at oneshots AT massively DOT com along with your name, the name of the game, and a quick description. (Polite smack-talk is welcome too.) We'll post it out here for everyone to check out and give you the credit.

Heh, I sent this shot in a while ago, so the caption deserves an update.
The invasion began on December 12, with the goal of hitting the strategic assets of Wildly Inappropriate (a member of the Northern Coalition). To date, we have captured all but 4 of their most valuable moons, and their jump bridge network is in shambles.
Their jump bridges and moons are being hit daily, but because of the enormous server issues that Dominion has brought, neither side has been to keen on comitting to a major engagement.

Most of the ships pictured are either battlecruisers (which can be flown with only a few weeks of skill training) or heavy assault ships (which are extremely specialized and take a lot of training). The real workhorse of an alliance fleet, the battleship, is much bigger (and more impressive).

Atlas/GC/CoW haven't formed a single battleship fleet. We have been flying only snipe HACs and BC, and defeated every battleship fleet the NC has thrown at us, including the one today in 04-LQM.
Since we have no intention to actually claim sovereignty we don't require the staying power that battleships provide, and we can make great use of the smaller ships maneuverability.

Atlas came to Geminate for 3 reasons.
#1 Occupy NC.
#2 Moon Goo.
#3 Install Solar and/or pets in Geminate.
Things have been a wargame until k25 when atlas attempted to help solar take sov in k25, then again in y8r then again in 04.
While I agree Atlas is ahead in k/d ratio, the effeciency isn't exactly truth telling. Your KB doesn't include solar losses, CoW losses, or GC losses, and it does include losses that were 2 weeks before the war when you were under the direction of ICN.
You also don't count when you were with Cry Havoc.
Save the Bullshit for CAOD.

One of the facets of EVE is propoganda, although normally propoganda tends to stay in EVE related channels like SHC, CAOD, or Kugu. Sometimes EVE propoganda spreads out to other sites like Tentonhammer (the Mittani) but at least Mittani posts psuedo intellectual propoganda, I guess this is just a grunt posting rubbish that didn't take much effort or thought.
Geminate is burning (y8r in the eyes of coalition forces against atlas and their pets):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=57bkgEydRHc
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_IxzZFvC7Y
Ever station system you've tried to take you've been stopped. Still waiting on that "inch."
K25 Atlas&Solar Defeated
Y8R Atlas&Solar Defeated
O4 Atlas&Solar Defeated
There is a lot more to this war than readers realize, but what atlas and solar fleet have done is basically hit the equivilant of an empire's gold mines, all their attempts at taking space have failed so far.

I can't speak for the Russians, but Atlas genuinely does not want the space. Everytime they've dropped SBUs it's been to bait a fight. Atlas hasn't brought any TCUs, and is only interested in Technetium moons, and ~goodfights~.
Rather than post youtube links to show the progress, I'll just post the Atlas kb:
http://killboard.atlas-alliance.com/?a=cc_detail&ctr_id=2
Of particular note is the 78% efficiency, as well as the two Mothership kills.
My second post should have read "-almost- every battleship fleet". Razor has been coming to defend WI stations, but they don't seem too concerned about WI moons, bridges, or fleets.
Enjoy your stations, we've got plenty down south. In the mean time, we'll just keep taking moons and kills.

75% efficiency for Atlas, but you claim to have defeated them?
You're right when you say that they don't have the station. NC needs to realize that's not why Atlas is in Geminate.

What defines a victory? If you win on effeciency but lose a station system does that count as a victory?
We held K25 Y8R and 04, so yes those are victories.

Technically both sides achieved their goals. NC continues to keep their stations, and Atlas continues to take Technetium moons.
Given that Atlas also tends to win fleet engagements (which are increasingly rare due to lag), it's fair to say the campaign is currently in Atlas' favour.

Considering your goals are to get W.I. out of geminate give sov to solar and install pets as well in there you taking moons is insignificant.
Take a station system=1 inch.
