Eskil "doesn't feel right charging for the game while he's working on the beta update"?

Um... didn't he charge people to alpha the game for him?

So he could pay for the servers?

He apparently has enough to run them now until he finishes the beta update. That's good news in anyone's book, especially as he was only asking for 3 euros for a month of play.

Um... One person? Not an entire development studio with funding and ready publishers.

Yeah I guess if nothing else, he seems like an honest guy. At least he isn't incrementally adding more euros/mo to pay for other miscellaneous expenses. It will be interesting to see how this pans out. The development of the game may end up being a lot more interesting than the game itself -- and the game does look interesting, albeit a little dizzying.
