Would you like to know more about BioWare's lengthy effort of creating the dark side classes in Star Wars: The Old Republic? Well, of course you would! We mean, who wouldn't really? Well, probably Jedi, but nobody really listens to those guys anyhow. Except maybe for angst-ridden youth who've just recently discovered their father is a dark lord of the Sith. Oh, wait, nevermind.
In this video glimpse into the game's development, we're treated to some insight on the Sith Warrior and Inquisitor's overall design. BioWare details their thought process behind the various aspects of each class, including lightsaber hilt styles, armor styles and of course overall story focus within the game. Our collective jaws were on the floor during the shots of all the concept art for Sith armor. Players definitely won't find Star Wars: The Old Republic to be a game lacking in depth and breadth of loot.
Check out the full video after the break.

interesting that you claim that no class in TOR will heal. Willing to bet on it? Willing to say you will drop the game completly if they have a class that heals in the game?
Go play Warhammer and AoC. They predate WoW as well. Warhammer is the orginal WoW just like WoW stole from KotOR. Right?
KotOR have raids too? Four man quest?
Interesting that you cherry pick things like the stealth from KotOR. I played both games, one is nothing like the other. What is shown in this video looks nothing likee KotOR but looks a lot like WoW with lightsabers.
*rolls eyes* Nice try. Roll again.

I said no DEDICATED healing class, not "no healing at all". Nothing that screams "pure healer" like Priest in WoW. TOR's healers are more subtle, like Smugglers healing with medicine. I bet you don't automatically think "Healer" when you hear Smuggler, do you? Exactly my point on no dedicated healers.
You didn't say anything about raids in your original post I replied to, so that's irrelevant. We haven't heard details on TOR raids either, so there's nothing to say on that.
I didn't cherrypick anything, I responded to everything you said with exception of the action bars part. You forget about the Stealth Belts in the first KotOR, that was the specialty of the Scout class before you become a Jedi? The stealth belts from KotOR1 are what Imperial Agents will be using for stealth.
"Age of Conan" doesn't predate WoW. "Conan the Barbarian" hasn't been successful in video game form at all, and AoC is no exception. I'll give you that Warhammer was popular before WoW, but you didn't cite anything in Warhammer Online that seems WoW-like but is actually from the previous Warhammer games. I cited several things in TOR that are WoW-like but actually from KotOR.
And would it hurt to keep this all in the same reply chain? You did it twice earlier, it's convenient.

To all those saying this looks like Starwars WoW, I think there is definitely some truth to that statement. But I think Bioware thinks their recipe for success is in a more immersive story line. They are banking on that element for pulling players away from WoW and other MMO's. Also, the whole swords, spells, orcs, and elves thing has played out far too long. I think a lot of people want to rock out with blasters and grenades. I would say that when considering the rapid growth of the MMO world, as well as the many Starwars fans, I would be amazed if this game is not a big success.
