Oh heck yeah! Most have free on the spot contests for stuff in game. Video card makers like ATI give away on the spot free games as well.

Follow http://twitter.com/CatalystMaker if you want a chance to win games.

Twitter very useful to the gamer!

Waiting on you FUNCOM to use twitter to give away some stuff!!!

The only reason Twitter is a household name is because it provides free advertising for whoever, and the media pretends it's another facebook, which it's not. Not by a long shot.

thaaaaaaaaaank you.

the only reason it's popular is because media outlets didn't want to be behind on the next social networking fad like they were with friendster, myspace, facebook, etc so they were all ready to elevate whatever came out next, whether it merited the praise or not. Twitter just got lucky and filled that spot.

Negative. I tried Twitter, but it's little more than a platform for advertisements (don't we already get enough of these impositions on our time?), trivia, and melodrama. I have no intention of resubscribing.

No. Even if its true some give gifts on twitter the whole aspect is still pointless or a waste of time. Afterall why do you come to this site if not for "meaningful" news.

I refuse to use twitter as I have better things to do with my free time. I do have an active Facebook account, however companies rarely publish any current information there.
